About

I have been teaching at SSU since 2014.  Working with college students as they develop into future leaders in our communities is a privilege.  I particularly love to support SSU students as they make meaningful connections about developmentally appropriate practices, develop positive strategies for supporting all children and families, and shape their own ideology about how to most effectively impact our communities.  In addition to teaching at SSU, I have taught elementary school in Sonoma County, coached teachers, designed curriculum, and worked as a parent educator. In my free time, I love to play tennis, hike with my family, and listen to SF Giants games.
