MA in Education Handbook
Sonoma State University’s College of Education, Counseling, and Ethnic Studies School of Teacher Education and Leadership offers five advanced credential programs and three areas of concentration within the Master of Arts in Education degree. Each of these programs reflects the philosophy, purpose, and goals of the School of Teacher Education and Leadership Social Justice Framework developed by the College of Education, Counseling, and Ethnic Studies faculty.
We have prepared this handbook to assist candidates in the successful completion of a Master of Arts in Education degree. It is intended to serve as a guide and a framework for success.
